IT’S OFFICIAL!
Jess, founder of Love For Meow, shared the following message to social media:
This has been quite the journey for me but I am finally done. My goal is to open an indoor, cage-free cat sanctuary in Litchfield county as soon as I find a place and the name will be Love for Meow.
Please take some time to check out my website located at the bottom of this post (thank you, Summer) and if able any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated. I have a lot of work to continue to do to make this dream a reality BUT (sic) it will happen in due time . Huge thanks to my directors who will be working along side me on this never ending project: Courtney Comporesi, Summer Perratti, Moira Dill.
Please note: for now, I will continue to take in one cat or two cats at a time (like I’ve been doing for the past few years), get them fully vetted, and adopted out. So please understand that I am NOT able to take groups of cats anytime soon until I have a place to house them all cage free-this could take up to a year plus. All donations for now will go towards the care of each individual cat I take in including food, litter, vet bills and saving for a future building.
Thanks everyone-the kitties will be forever grateful, warm and forever loved, a-lot more lives are going to be saved.
